Sales Manager – LTL/Freight Full-time

Description

Achieves assigned district goals through the effective management of a LTL sales team. Plans, executes and oversees sales activities.

Essential Functions  

• Provide daily leadership and guidance in the areas of training, coaching and development within the FedEx Freight Sales organization. 

• Call on selected accounts with sales representatives. 

• Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills. 

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Education 

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent. 

Minimum Experience 

Five (5) years of LTL selling experience, or two (2) years sales management experience. 

Knowledge, skills and abilities considered a plus: LTL leadership experience considered a plus. 

Preferred Qualifications:Proven leadership building, scaling & leading high-performing sales teams from the ground up, Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operations & sales experience, managed through change & delivered results in dynamic environments. Logistics background a plus! FedEx Employees under Jill Brannon’s org. Time in Position is waived.

Pay:$99,940 – $192,280

Additional Details:This is a face to face sales role. Hybrid work schedule. The preferred location is Salt Lake City, UT or Boise, ID. Other locations within a 50 mile radius may be considered. Relocation may be available based on business needs.
