Warehouse Manager I Full-time

Employee performs work including ordering, storage and distribution, and organization of needed items in a multiple warehouse setting. Tasks require physical labor in the loading, unloading and storage of various items and equipment. Employee is responsible for inventory that is critical for the safe and efficient operation of the school district. Employee is responsible for ensuring all inventory is kept in an organized and easily accessible manner as well as all shipping and receiving duties. Employee will manage the Gov Deal Program. This employee will also be expected to travel to local vendors to obtain needed parts and supplies as well as deliver these items to technicians in the field. This employee reports to the Director of Maintenance and Facilities.

Example of Work Load

Purchasing/Ordering Equipment and Supplies

Ensuring that needed items are in stock.

Organization of all Supplies and Equipment

Inventory/Cost Reports

Delivering Supplies/Equipment to Technicians in the Field.

Loading/Unloading

Maintains Warehouse and Warehouse Grounds

Manages the Gov Deal Program

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities

Must be comfortable and knowledgeable using a computer.

Must be familiar with online searching/purchasing.

Must be able to establish good communications with vendors.

Working Knowledge of Inventory Control

Ability to lift 50 lbs at one time, multiple times per day.

Ability to load/unload trucks by hand.

Suggested Training and Experience

Some experience with inventory control and warehouse management is preferred.
