Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Operations Coordinator to lead and support key functions within our warehouse environment. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cross-departmental collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Inventory Management • Lead the cycle count program to ensure 100% annual completion (ISO requirement). • Label and assign product locations using standardized format; update records in Macola. • Execute putaway processes for Turners Falls and Out Side Process materials, optimizing space utilization. • Organize and maintain bulk storage areas (raw materials, corrugate, regrind, etc.). • Conduct re-warehousing to optimize stock placement based on size, usage, and accessibility. • Maintain accurate records for storage trailers. • Production and Fulfillment Support • Select and deliver components for production lines in coordination with Packaging Supervisor and Production Manager. • Fulfill component requests for transfer back to Turners Falls. • Process Improvement and Documentation • Implement and sustain the 5S program across the warehouse. • Assist in purchasing basic supplies (e.g., corrugate, pallets, labels). • Contribute to the creation of SOPs and work instructions for shipping, receiving, inventory, and production. • Participate in Kaizen (continuous improvement) initiatives. • Cross-Training and Collaboration • Cross-train with Shipping Manager on shipping functions for coverage support. • Cross-train with Shipping Assistant on shipping paperwork processes. • Train progressively on shop packet handling under guidance from Packaging Supervisor. • Required Skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Self-motivated and comfortable setting own work priorities • Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment • Written and verbal English communication skills • Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals • Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE) • Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment • Adherence to attendance policy • Required Education/Experience • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively across departments. • Experience with inventory systems (e.g., Macola) preferred. • Commitment to continuous improvement and safety standards. • On the Job Training Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and may be required to stand for up to 3 hours at a time. This is a full time 8 hour position.
