This role bridges merchandising, marketing, and creative teams to bring product stories to life through high-quality copy, visuals, and metadata.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and publish product descriptions, titles, and specifications across the e-commerce platform
Ensure all product content adheres to brand voice, SEO best practices, and internal style guidelines
Manage product uploads, categorization, and attribution to maintain site accuracy and shoppability
Collaborate with photography, merchandising, and creative teams to ensure timely content delivery
Conduct quality checks to verify correct pricing, imagery, and inventory status on site
Optimize content using relevant keywords to improve organic search performance and site navigation
Partner with e-commerce and digital marketing teams to support content for landing pages, seasonal edits, and promotional campaigns
Own seasonal content update calendar
Work cross-functionally with the customer service team to address product-related inquiries and ensure accurate promotional information is reflected on the website
Use Excel to manage large product catalogs, perform bulk uploads, and audit product attributes including pricing, inventory, and descriptions
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital content, or merchandising (fashion/apparel a plus)
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on customer experience and SEO
Familiarity with CMS platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, or similar)
Proficiency in Excel and basic HTML is a plus
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Passion for product, storytelling, and a polished brand experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a working knowledge of VLOOKUP and other data functions
Experience with a Product Information Management (PIM) system is a plus
Pay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws. In addition, bonus and/or commission and benefits including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and product discounts may be offered.
Range for the position is $56,175 – $93,626
